The Psychology class recently used their creativity to present information they have learned about the structure and function of our brains. They were able to choose how they wanted to present what they learned from using posters, slide shows, or even edible options. Today's presentations were well done and we even learned that the brain is the fattiest organ in our bodies! #SOAR

The Psychology class is beginning to study how our brains sense and perceive the world around us. In today's activity, the students had to use their senses and ability to perceive the world around them to complete a series of tasks. At one station, students had to use their sense of taste to determine the flavor of the Skittle they ate, without looking at the color. At another, they had to determine the flavor of the Skittle while smelling a stronger scent, to determine which sense was stronger. The onion was very strong today!! Their sense of touch came in handy to determine what some mystery items were, and they blew bubbles to feel what the solution was like. They had to use their perception to put a puzzle together, without knowing what the picture looked like! They also took a moment to listen to the happenings in the classroom, and took a view of the classroom from another angle.
